When is the cloud the better choice?
When you would rather not look after a computer. There is nothing to install, nothing to back up yourself, and you can check the day’s sales from home. Most single shops with a steady connection start here.
When is my own server the better choice?
When the internet in your area drops during trading hours, when you want every record to stay inside the shop, or when you would rather pay once than every month. The counters only need to reach the server over the shop’s own network.
Who installs it on my own server?
We do, with you. We set up the server, your shop, your counters and the nightly backup, and check that a bill prints before we leave.
Can I move from one to the other later?
Yes. It is the same software, so your catalogue, stock and sales history move across with you. Talk to us first and we will plan the move around your trading hours.
